LINE TYPE COUPLINGS

A coupling or coupler is basically a small sized pipe with a socket on one or both ends; used mainly for piping or plumbing applications. This coupling allows joining, welding, brazing or soldering of two pipes or tubes. The coupling can have female pipe threads on both ends or male pipe threads on both ends. In case, it has female thread on one side and male thread on another, then it is considered as an adapter. And in case when both sides of coupling has same threads, but of different size, then it is regarded as reducer or reducing coupling. The pipe coupler can also have one plain side and another side threaded. Pipeline couplings offered are mainly used to connect and tightly seal two even pipes or tubes.
